Ensamble Pavilion / Mextropoly competition

2022
CDMX, Mexico
Competition

The ENSAMBLE pavilion is a sustainable response to the environmental problems we face today. The main approaches to be resolved include sustainable management through the choice of the basic manufacturing resource - wood and the number of modules that make up the pavilion, in order to reduce the ecological footprint throughout the process: manufacturing, transportation and assembly. By using local timber from Mexico, our team wanted to highlight its incredible structural capacity and its potential to store the carbon sequestered through the wood, for as long as possible.
