Arquitectas MX

As an architect in Mexico, I am part of Arquitectas MX, a community focused on empowering women architects, promoting gender equality, and creating opportunities for them. My participation includes sharing achievements, providing resources, advocating for policy changes, and offering mentorship.

Recently, I was selected to present an art piece titled “Duality” in an exhibition in Monterrey, Mexico. The work, made from recycled wood, features two faces: a rough one symbolizing frustrations, and a polished one representing the idealized images seen on social media. The vertical elements reflect different aspects of life: my architectural career in Mexico, personal life, and roots in Russia, symbolizing the ongoing balance and shifting priorities. Through this exhibition, I engaged with other members, sharing common challenges and celebrating collective accomplishments.
